I do a lot of wedding ceremonies, over 300 every year, as well as Wedding Blessings and Wedding Vow Renewals. Couples often ask me to write a ceremony which reflects their culture and their beliefs, so I have written ceremonies for Jewish couples, Hindu couples, Shinto couples and Muslim couples.
However, my favourite ceremony, and the one I use most is called the Contemporary Wedding Ceremony, and it was written by my father Vernon Jackson, OBE JP, the Cayman Islands best known Marriage Officer. Sadly my dad passed away in October 2016, but I enjoy using this ceremony because it brings back many happy memories of him.
Once you have booked your ceremony and reserved your date and time, we will send you a script and a selection of readings so that we can begin to personalize your wedding ceremony.
We welcome couples who want to compose their own wedding vows, or you can repeat the Simply Weddings vows after me. We give you the opportunity to choose the readings which have a special meaning for you and to include a prayer if that is your wish. However as a Civil Registrar of Marriages my emphasis is on non-religious or inter denominational ceremonies.
Many weddings have an extra part like a Unity Sand Ceremony, a Rose Ceremony, or a 3-Strand Ceremony. We are happy to offer you a ceremony as unique as your relationship.
