Last week Hurricane Earle was busy in the Eastern Caribbean, and several cruise-ships were diverted to our side of the Caribbean. This Georgia couple found that we could still make all their dreams of an exotic island wedding come true.
The radiant bride was escorted by her father
When the groom contacted us to say that they needed to have their wedding in Grand Cayman, instead of St Thomas, he was understandably nervous. I told him, no problem, once you get the group to Grand Cayman, we'll take it from there.
This was one of the times that I was really happy that we are set-up to deal with cruise weddings easily, and quickly. In particular I'm glad we have a "Bridal Room" were brides can change, do their hair and make-up while the rest of their party relaxes, and we get their Special Marriage License.
Fuchia and orange predominate in this bridal bouquet
We were able to get several things the bride really wanted, like the colours in her bouquet and also a quiet location with a pier. The Blue Water beach location allowed them to get some outstanding photos.

Of course we were able to do all the usual things, like the Champagne Ceremony and the Cork Ceremony. Here's a picture of the whole group toasting this happy, young couple.
"Here's to long life and happiness"
As part of the Champagne Ceremony, I tell the Bride and Groom, " Close Your Eyes and Make a Wish."
Making a special wish on their wedding day
My wish for you both is that you'll always be as happy as you were on your wedding day in the Cayman Islands.
A very, very happy groom
