Nine months in the planning, this recent cruise wedding on Seven Mile Beach had lots of special features. The ceremony itself included a presentation of the Bride, by the Bride's father, a reading by the Bride's mother, and a prayer by the Groom's parents

Another unusual feature was the "Covenant of Salt".  It was the first time I had officiated at this 'salt ceremony'.

Special containers held the salt

The container for the 'Salt Ceremony' was hand-made by the Bride's father

The wedding was witnessed by a group of family and friends who travelled with the newly-weds on a cruise of the western Caribbean.  Many couples choose to be married in Grand Cayman because it is the easiest port to be married in in the Western Caribbean, with no residency period required before your vows can be said.

So many aspects of this wedding were customised, including the two-tier wedding cake

Our photography packages includes posed pictures after the ceremony.  Photography by Yvette McField, this wedding took place on Governor's Beach.

It helps when you have a good idea of the posed shots you would like.  Most couples want this seated pose on pink sand with the turquoise water behind them.
