Every week we get requests for information about our island home. Here are some recommendations. The recommendations below have not been solicited, we do not take commissions. We do not recommend any establishments we have not visited, or used. These are our personal choices, you can find more dining choices at www.caymanrestaurants.com
Many of these recommendations have their own Facebook pages. Not all have a website, but you can find their phone numbers in the Cayman Islands Yellow Pages
Grand Cayman has a variety of hotel chains, the Ritz Carlton, the Westin, the Marriot, Comfort Suites etc. We also have scores of condos with short term rentals SW recommends a small “suites” hotel which is independently owned , off Seven Mile Beach, Sunshine Suites. Recently I paid a visit to Cobalt Coast to look at their brand new penthouse suite, the Mermaid Suite. I was so impressed, I wanted to stay there myself! I love Cobalt Coast Dive Resort and so will you. We have paired up to offer a great wedding and accommodation package, so contact them here.
We are “foodies”, we like to cook, and we like to eat out. Fortunately, Grand Cayman has a plethora of amazing restaurants. Here are our favourites
SW recommends “Edoardos’” in Coconut Place, George Town (near the Ritz Carlton)
We love sushi, and SW recommends the best sushi on this side of the world “ Yoshi Sushi” which is opposite the Westin in The Falls Shopping Plaza
We do a lot of weddings at the Wharf’s private beach, and this restaurant in George Town is one of our favourites SW recommends "The Wharf Restaurant". Make sure you're there at 9 pm for their nightly feeding of the tarpon.
SW recommends Michael's Genuine Food and Drink in Camana Bay ( Joy's favourite is the Pig's Ear Salad!) Also the BEST beer selection in the Cayman Islands! You can find Michael's on "Open Table". Don't forget the island's stand-out favourite for a romantic ocean-side dinner, and a great patio for your wedding or wedding reception at Casanova's
