I always enjoy going up to North Side to officiate a wedding, and this wedding was no exception.  The setting was breath-taking, and the wedding had several enjoyable features which the couple and their children  and other family members enjoyed.

The couple chose to have a Unity Sand Ceremony and their four children all contributed to the Wagner Memory Vase, seen here.

If you wish to include your children in your wedding ceremony, there are many ways this can be done.  Most often children do the readings for the ceremony, hold the bride's bouquet, hold the rings or scatter petals or confetti.  It  might depend on the age of the child and what they feel comfortable doing.  If the Bride has sons, she might chose to have them escort her down the aisle.

However you chose to involve your children, a wedding is always a memorable occasion for the kids, and something they will associate with a pleasant memory.  I like to give the children something they can take home to remember the day, in this case some starfish shells.
